WLO also provides secretariat services to the Foundation for Moral Courage through which it coordinates the work of the Board of Directors.
The Foundation, established by Sy Rotter in 1991, produces and distributes educational television documentaries on themes of moral courage and conflict resolution.
The Foundation publicly recognizes with annual awards, individuals who evidenced moral courage in their lives, who thereby serve as role models for students.
In cooperation with the University of Arizona at which Sy Rotter serves as adjunct professor, the Foundation completed a video Biography of Raul H. Castro, the first and only Hispanic Governor of the State of Arizona. This 28 minutes Production was premiered in Phoenix and in Tucson, Arizona in 2007.
The Foundation in cooperation with Boston College completed in 2009 its co-production of "Frozen Memories" the history of the Soviet Union's Gulag experience. This program is scheduled to be aired on PBS in October 2009.
